Question about taxes and bankruptcy?
I am in a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy. One of the Creditors on my bankruptcy is the State of Georgia for taxes. My question is will this affect my FEDERAL income tax refund this year?
If you are making payments as part of a Chapter 13 plan, those are the only payments that should be collected. Your federal refund should not be offset.
